Get Thyself to Uganda!

My final breakfast at the i-Dock Restaurant in Amsterdam

Time to get on a plane from Amsterdam to Nairobi and then onto Entebbe, Uganda after a suitable layover.

Our flight to Nairobi took a dogleg turn to the east to get over the Red Sea, and then down and to the west to fly over Ethiopia. We could be taking this route to avoid overflight of Sudan and Somalia due to political instability, but that is just a guess on my part.

Since we arrived at Entebbe sometime after 2AM Saturday, we cleared immigration control, collected our checked baggage along with our bins of supplies, and were whisked off to the Best Western Premier Garden Hotel in Entebbe.

The three pictures after the Best Western hotel room picture were of a delightful place we had lunch at called Multi Entebbe on Saturday. We had to burn some time since two of our team were delayed 12 hours. Once they were collected at the Entebbe airport, we proceeded to go to The GEM Foundation, finding a room especially prepared for me! Home away from home. The two pictures of trees is the view out the back of the guest quarters.

The final photo depicts our hosts Josh and Emma, one of their amazing children, our Pastor Vince, and a member of our team, Jeff Lyons.
